Molecular weight: 611.77
Industrial and food grade
Package: 25kg/bag or 1ton/bag
Sodium hexametaphosphate
Molecular formula: (NaPO3)6
Molecular weight: 611.77
Performance characteristics:
A kind of sodium metaphosphate polymer, transparent glass flakes or white powdery crystals, strong hygroscopicity, becomes sticky after absorbing moisture, and is easily deliquescent in the air and easily soluble in water; it has a higher solubility in water, but the dissolution rate is slower, the aqueous solution is acidic. Easily hydrolyzed into phosphite. It has the ability to form soluble complexes for some metal ions (calcium, magnesium), so it can be used to soften water, and also form complexes with lead, silver, and barium salts.
Uses:
1. Used as a high-efficiency water softener for cooling water treatment in power stations, locomotives, boilers and fertilizer plants, detergent additives, control or anti-corrosion agents, cement hardening accelerators, streptomycin purifiers, fiber industry, bleaching and dyeing Industrial cleaning agent.
2. Used as a flotation agent in the beneficiation industry.
3. Used as a sedative in medicine and as a preservative stabilizer. in the food industry.
4. In the petroleum industry, it is used to prevent rust of drilling pipes and to control the viscosity of the mud when oil is drilled.
5. It is also used in textile printing and dyeing, leather tanning, papermaking, color film, soil analysis, radiochemistry, analytical chemistry and other departments.
